Job Description – PreSales Consultant (Secure Email Gateway)

Adeptis Group is supporting an international cloud messaging security provider recruiting a PreSales Consultant – Secure Email Gateway.

You will join a company delivering large-scale secure communication services to major enterprise customers worldwide. Due to strong commercial momentum and a growing pipeline, the team is expanding and urgently looking for an additional presales expert.

This position is ideal for someone with a background in email security, messaging infrastructure, or network engineering, who enjoys designing secure communication flows and translating complex requirements into clear, customer-focused solutions.

🎯 Your Mission

As a PreSales Consultant, you act as the technical backbone of the sales cycle, guiding customers from initial discovery to final technical validation.

Sales Support

• Partner with Account Managers to qualify opportunities and structure value-driven proposals.
• Translate customer requirements into scalable, secure email gateway solutions.
• Deliver customized demos, presentations, and workshops tailored to different stakeholders.
• Prepare integration concepts, effort estimations, and technical responses to RFPs.

Architecture & Design

• Design and validate secure email gateway architectures.
• Provide technical expertise on SMTP routing, anti-spam/anti-phishing policies, encryption, and authentication frameworks (SPF, DKIM, DMARC).
• Ensure proposed solutions align with customer environments and industry standards.

Trusted Advisor Role

• Build strong technical relationships with selected strategic accounts.
• Handle limited “service management” duties for VIP customers, offering proactive guidance.
• Represent customer needs internally and ensure seamless handover to Customer Enablement teams.

Internal Collaboration

• Work closely with Product Management, Engineering, Delivery, and Customer Enablement.
• Contribute to improving presales processes, documentation, and reusable materials.

⚠️ Note: This is a fixed-salary presales position (no commission plan).

🔍 What We're Looking For

Experience

• 4–5 years of relevant experience in email security, messaging, networking, or infrastructure.
• Minimum of 2 years in a technical presales / client-facing role.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of SMTP, TLS, MTA configuration, anti-spam/phishing features.
• Solid understanding of authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC).
• Familiarity with S/MIME or PGP is a plus.
• Strong foundation in networking: TCP/IP, HTTPS, NAT, proxies, APIs.
• Ability to analyze architectures and design secure email solutions.
• Exposure to SaaS environments appreciated.
