Computer Vision Engineer - 3D Modeling / NeRF | Rome, Italy

Adeptis Group is partnering with an exciting, well-funded start-up in Rome, Italy, to recruit an experienced Computer Vision professional with 3D modelling capabilities. This well funded start-up is developing cutting-edge AI technology solutions that combat the impacts of climate change across industries. What You’ll Do:

• Develop detailed 3D models and environments using various Photogrammetry techniques including NeRF.
• Process 2D images and data required for 3D reconstruction and modelling.
• Optimise 3D models for performance and quality across various platforms and applications.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements 3D modelling technologies, bringing fresh ideas and innovation to projects.
• Develop & Innovate: Build advanced AI and machine learning models to support climate resilience projects.
• Collaborate & Influence: Work closely with scientists and engineers to integrate AI solutions into climate models.
• Research & Lead: Drive R&D efforts, contributing to the development of next-generation AI methodologies.
• Optimise & Maintain: Enhance AI/ML pipelines for efficient, large-scale data analysis.

What We’re Looking For:

• Educational Background: Degree in Computer Science/Engineering with at least 3 years of experience, or a PhD in a relevant field.
• AI & ML Expertise: Strong research or thesis experience in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python (e.g., SciPy, scikit-learn) and C++, with experience using Ubuntu.
• Frameworks & Tools: Hands-on experience with tools such as PyTorch, Jax, PyTorch-lightning, Keras, TensorFlow.
• Deep Learning Knowledge: Solid understanding of CNN, ViT, and advanced AI architectures.
• 3D Modelling: Familiarity with dust3r, mast3r, NeRFs.
• Mathematics & Probability: Strong foundation in mathematical modelling and probability theory.
